The question from NRS was, Can I help out a fellow kayaker?
The question from the kayaker was, "We have two equinox kayaks made by
future beach , the model is 10.4"
a. That is a statement not a question.
b. If you wonder if it will fit take the measurements of the area you
intend to put the bag and compare them to the measurement of the bag. Note
that the bag inflates and expands. So it can conform to the space some. As
it inflates it gets a little shorter depending upon expansion.
c. I hold mine in place with a light braided line I ran from a new drilled
hole in the deck, just large enough for the line, foward to one of the
aft D rings on the bag. I secure it in place with a figure eight knot
above the hole. I tie off the excess tail to the bungee eye strap
anchors. Leaving the tail means I can remove the bag without having to
fish a new line in when it is time to reinstall it.
d. The bag holds air well but a good fix would be a sea kayak with
bulkheads fore and aft.
