Best Uses Comments about NRS Canoe 3-D End Float: Ripped open the first day I used it. Not durable at all. Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about NRS Canoe 3-D End Float: I use the end bags in my canoes for that extra bit of insurance. The old ones NRS made were a flimsy material that did not hold up well, and the grommets were poorly attached. They did not survive driving down the highway, let alone swimming a CIII. I had two sets of the old variety and lost them all. These new ones are made of what seems to be a much tougher material, and the tie down points are sewn into the material rather than glued to the outside. All in all, a much better product than what used to be offered. Well done, NRS!
Pros Cons Best Uses Comments about NRS Canoe 3-D End Float: I have a Dagger Legend Canoe (very equivalent to a Mad River Explorer) and while these bags work fine they are too small to fill the bow and stern properly. If you are trying to outfit a large canoe I would suggest looking elsewhere.
Comments about NRS Canoe 3-D End Float: My new Malibu X-factor Kayak had a defect and kayak sank close to shore. Dealer repaired defect, I added these types of floats along with the others, port and starboard, a great extra measure of safety. Cons is it takes up storage space inside kayak and wind will effect kayak a little more since you ride a little higher. Worth it. Pros
