This vest doesn't ride up into your chin like so many others I have used. It was getting warm so I undid the zipper, but kept the clasps closed and it provided great ventilation. I had the chance to put it to the test and it was great in the river. It didn't ride up, and I never felt like my head was close to being dunked. It also didn't chafe at the armholes with a sleeveless shirt. There were several adjustment points that gave it a comfortable fit.

This PFD was all that i was hoping for and more. The pockets are great and expand to hold a bunch of gear or granola bars. The strap system was straightforward and works well, doesn't seem to loosen at all over time. The best part is the buckle system underneath the zipper. It's great if you want to just sit and rest but still remain secure if you fall in. If i needed another vest, i would buy this.

Great vest for the money, The design has less floatation in the back so you can sit back in your seat, But put's all the floatation bulk up front of you but you get use to it.

The shape of the back of this vest makes it perfect for Jackson fishing kayaks. The Jackson fishing boats have great seats with tall backs. The tall backs cause problems with the half back vests usually sold to rec boaters and you end up having the vest ride up bad or it jabs you on the back.
Not with this jacket. It fits perfect for me and my Jackson Coosa!
