I have 2 of these rod holders mounted on my NRS fishing frame. I made a base for the mount using composite decking material and then bolted it to my fishing frame with the over-sized U-bolts. I keep my rods in the holders whenever I'm not actively casting as it keeps the rods of the floor of the raft. I also frequently troll for crappie, bass, and saugeye; these rod holders are the ticket.

You'll need the Scotty Glue-On Mount Pad 341 - http://www.nrsweb.com/shop/product.asp?pfid=4332&pdeptid=1090
You should be able to glue it to your board. The glue needed depends on your board material. The Mount is PVC. If you're gluing it to an inflatable PVC board, I'd recommend Stabond. You will need to buy the Scotty mount patch which comes with an adhesive glue, then you can screw the mount into the scotty mount patch. Hope this helps!
