I keep this cooler in my Ranger Bay boat for saltwater fishing in Southeast Texas. It is very well made and keeps ice a LONG time, even here in the warm/muggy Gulf Coast area. The only apsect of it that would make it better for fishing would be use of easier open/close latches.
