Specifics about this item: These boats were used by an outfitter in the Colorado area for 5 seasons. They have been refurbished by the NRS boat factory. The boat's tube material was showing premature wearing, so patches were installed over large areas of delamination. Lots of custom accessory patches and foot cups. Does not come with thwarts. Sold as is, no warranty.

Yes, I would just like a little more specific information on the condition of these used boats. I noticed that there is patching on them due to wear...were there actually any punctures or air loss, or was this only over stressed areas due to wear. Are there any other add-ons to these boats other than the foot cups? And, is it possible to buy thwarts in this same color? I looked on your site, and only see blue, yellow, and red for the 140.

Jay, these boats were built for an outfitter; they wanted the green color material. We warned them that it might fade in the high-altitude Colorado sun, and it did. We went back to Pennel, our material supplier and they remade the material saying they'd fixed the fading problem. So, we made new boats for the customer. On their original boats we patched over the faded sections with the new material and are offering them for sale at a great price. There are some extra accessory tiedown patches and the HD40 wear material wraps up higher than on other E-boats. These are bomber boats, well worth the price.
