Although I rinsed them out everytime, the rachet failed after one day. I duct taped them on after that. Not what I expected for a [$] shoe

Comments about TrekSta Women's Kisatchie Sandal: I've always used wetsuit boots when kayaking as they are easy to fit in a kayak and keep your feet warm. However they take forever to dry, smell, tend to slip on rocks and you feel every stone through the sole. I was keen to try something that was light a proper shoe but allowed water to drain and dried quickly without smelling. These sandles seem to fit the bill, however I have had to modify the sole a bit to wear them comfortably in my kayak.
