Inaccurate sizing

Pros

  • Waterproof

Cons

  • Will not fit sizes listed

Best Uses

  • Boats with smlr cockpits

Comments about Level Six Juice Lite Sprayskirt:

This was the second spray skirt I received. I measure the cockpit on my boat accurately and neither one fit and had to be returned. I am finding the stretching of spray skirts to be over estimated, especially those with rubber rands as opposed to bungees. Although wetting it got it on, there was no way I'd ever get it on by myself. When I asked Level 6, they said it was for white water boats, because 'touring boats are looking for splash protection, not immersion'. Well, I need to keep waves out of my boat, and am learning to roll my boat, so, the nylon splash skirts are pretty much out of the question. I have a rubber randed skirt for my 17' boat, and have taken 4-5' waves on it without implosion. Due to a larger cockpit size, I was left with choosing a bungeed skirt. Do not go by the sizes listed for spray skirts, they are way over estimated.

Pros

  • Cockpit stays dry
  • Easy To Attach
  • Waterproof

Cons

  • Water Pools In Skirt

Best Uses

  • Rolling practice

Comments about Level Six Juice Lite Sprayskirt:

I purchased this skirt to use for rolling practice, since I recently learned the skill. I figured I would need something that would allow me to do as many rolls as possible without having to go through the hassle of bailing water from the cockpit. This skirt does it for me since the rubber rand provides a very tight seal around the coaming. When you buy it put it on your kayak for a day or two to allow the rubber rand to stretch and allow for easy on and off.

Service and delivery comments:

Usual very good service from NRS.

      Hello,
I own this sprayskirt and here is what I can tell based on my experience.
The Pyranha G3 is listed at the Pyranha website with a cockpit of  18 inches x  37 inches
I have used my Juice Lite sprayskirt to demo these boats and it fit them all. I got a good, solid fit for each one.
Please note these cockpit measurements come from the manufacturer website. I assume they are accurate
      Dagger Axiom 8.5 - cockpit 19 inches x 34 inches
      Wavesport Diesel 7.0 - cockpit 19 inches x 33.5 inches
      Liquid Logic Remix 69 - cockpit 20 inches x 34 inches
      Jackson Zen 65 - cockpit 20.25 inches x 34 inches
Based on those numbers, the 18-inch width of your G3 cockpit should not be an issue. The 37-inch width does seem to be unusual.  None of the boats I tried have a cockpit as long as yours.
I do know that the sprayskirt does stretch a lot.  I would say to go ahead and try the Juice Lite.  NRS has a great customer service and return policy.
My hunch is that the hardest part will be getting the skirt on the very first time.  After that, when it is stretched out and wet, it will be easier.
The Remix was the hardest to fit for me.  But after it was on the boat for a few hours and got wet, it was easy to put on as well as remove.
I also used my sprayskirt on a Necky Looksha Sport (not the Looksha 14) sea kayak.  Don't know the measurements as it is an old model and no longer advertised.
       Good luck.

I'm not familiar with that Kayak. I have a Fluid Spice medium and it fits snugly. I really like this skirt though.
